I want to convert my PDF file in Google Drive into Google document for editing and using translator for referencing. How can I do it?
Google is a big giant on the Internet. Everything they do now is making an ecosystem that allow people can work on the Internet with only a web browser.
One of that is providing you a capability to create, edit your document, spreadsheet, presentation online. This application is called Google Docs. Even this kind of application does not have all functionality like Microsoft Office suite, it is simple enough for people to do a simple job like create a simple document. All of your Google Docs will be stored on Google Drive.
Beside of these, Google Docs allow you to view one pdf file content from browser. It’s just view, without editing capability. To do that, you have to convert pdf file into Google document format. Fortunately, Google Drive allows you to convert file online. Whenever you upload file to Google Drive, it ask you whether convert to Google Docs format.
However, in Google Drive interface, you cannot find any button to convert PDF file to Google document. To do that you have to go through function in right-click menu like bellow.
Step 1. Browse to your file in Google Drive. Right click on your file then choose Open With. Then click on Google Docs.
Step 2. Then Google will open a new window indicate the status of conversion.
Step 3. Wait a few seconds, then you can see your pdf content is converted to Google Document which you can editing as you want. This file is stored in the same folder as your pdf file.
